Our mission

We balance our shared mission by maintaining diversity within our facilities: school complexes, preschool, and psychological and pedagogical clinic. We prioritize autonomy in education and communication with students and parents.

Common base

In the late 1980s, the idea arose to establish a social school in Gdańsk. "Social," meaning independent of the communist regime.

The establishment of the Gdansk Educational Foundation in 1989 was associated with the freedom movement, that referred to the changes in the emerging new Poland, and with the need for autonomy in the education of children and youth.

Freedom, autonomy, searching to find one's own path, and teaching about responsibility is the real foundation of all the facilities that are a part of the Gdansk Educational Foundation.

Respect

Responsibility

We see responsibility as:

a duty of care for the words we speak, the actions we take, the common good and the environment

the ability to shape one’s own development path
freedom of thought and self-expression

Commitment

We see commitment as:

belief that what we do and how we do it matters

Educational activities

The Gdańsk Educational Foundation operates three school complexes, a preschool and a psychological and pedagogical clinic. Each of them has its own unique character, but all share an exceptional educational atmosphere.
The variety of the offer provided by our schools allows students to choose and pursue their own educational path.
